1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 garlic clove, minced 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger 1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon lime juice Direction1. Wash the yen choy well, discarding any tough stalk ends, and tear into large pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a wok, add the garlic, ginger and jalapeno and toss for about 10 seconds. Add the other spices and stir for several more seconds, then add the yen choy, salt, lime juice, and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir fry until the yen choy starts to wilt. Remove from heat and serve. |
